Poems with a Natural Bent

A tumbly bumbly bumble bee
I would like to be
To smile
All the while
And buzz so busily

A listener of winds and friends
A growing of strength and endurance
A bower of health and refreshing vitality
An extension of roots to find water and attachment
is
A tree full of ever-expanding cycles

You would think I would learn…
Comes to naught
As per usual
The cycle…
Rise, fall
And swear never again
Only-
-with convenient amnesia-
To climb the next second
